Mojo Beans, also known as African wishing beans or St Joseph's beans, are widely used for...you guessed it...granting wishes.
According to the hoodoo practice, simply select an odd number of beans and make a wish on each one, then carry the beans with you for a week. After seven days have passed, throw the beans over your left shoulder into running water (think streams and rivers or oceans, the movement is the important thing) and don't look back. No river access? A crossroads will do nicely. Allegedly after you discard the beans, your wish will come true within seven days.
